A legally numbed Gallagher is nursing three broken ribs after a Canadian man pushed the Oasis guitarist off stage during a gig in Toronto last month.
The downside: all Oasis gigs since have been cancelled while Gallagher recovers. The upshot: camera phone footage from multiple fans have clocked up millions of You Tube hits.

Bloc Party veröffentlichen am Donnerstag ihr 3. Album “Intimacy”, was allerdings vorerst nur in MP3 Form erhältlich sein wird. Eine CD Version erscheint erst am 27. Oktober und soll noch zusätzliche Songs beinhalten. Bei der Produktion der neuen Platte standen mal wieder Jacknife Lee und Paul Epworth an den Reglern.
Die Tracklist lautet:

“Mercury” (produced by Jacknife Lee) is gonna be released on August 11th only as a strictly Ltd Edition Deluxe Mercury single disc-set; including heavyweight vinyl 12” and 7” plus Maxi CD.
